It’s Whale Tail Days for the Coastal Interpretive Center through December 21. The Center and area Ocean Shores businesses have blue bins full of small plush whales that can be obtained for a donation. These whales are to help bring awareness to the Center and also helps to support the free programs provided by the Center.

The Center is in need of volunteers. We need those interested in helping with facilities maintenance, general office help, education, fundraising and Center hosts. We are especially interested in anyone with knowledge of rocks and/or shells as we are looking to make over those exhibits this winter. Fill out a volunteer card at interpretivecenter.org under ways to help, volunteer. Call 360/289-4617 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
